What I Use In My Kitchen

Hi Everyone,

This post is not quite like the usual and not recipe based. Instead it’s more of a day-to-day type of post.

Because I’ve been asked quite frequently about the products that I use, I have put together a page for you listing some of the common items that I use/recommend.

I will continue to update it as we go but just wanted to get this out there for you as soon as possible 🙂

It would really help me out a lot should you decide to purchase the products on the list through Amazon that if you are able to do so through the links below 🙂

Naturally not everything that I have is available on Amazon so there is a mix in the links.

Thank you so much and I hope this list works helps!

Love,
Sara

deBuyer Bluesteel Pan

Cast Iron Braiser

Baking Trays
(I buy mine from a local kitchen store but this is similar)

Mini Sauce Pot

I use a brand called Falcon but I think they might only be available in Australia so have linked above one that is available on Amazon worldwide

Tabletop Japanese BBQ Grill

Charcoal Used – Binchotan

Tosa Binchotan - white charcoal 12 kg – Chef's Armoury

This burns cleanly at a really high heat with low ash and can last for a really long time (4hs approx). So a little goes a long way.

Baking Tin
(This is not the exact brand that I’ve used but have found an example similar online for you :))

Day-to-day

Blow Torch
(not the brand I am using but it is the style of torch)

Chopping Board

I like using my rubber cutting board as it is easy on the knife and makes chopping really comfortable. It is also easier to clean and just comes across as the better option for me. The brand I use is Hasegawa which is slightly lighter than the Asahi brand but it is always a toss up between the two brands as to which might be “better”.
